Ming Kee is an egg company that needs new packaging for its eggs,
with the strategy to use a bright yellow to stand out from its competitors in supermarkets.
First draft for their Kampung Eggs, going with a mixed-media concept and characterising the eggs as Spinning Tops, a toy played by people who lived in Kampungs back then.
However, the concept was too far-fetched and the client could not relate to the illustration.
They wanted something more direct, which would be easier for their consumers to understand.
As they had picked another designer's concept for the packaging base, I contributed an Illustration of a Kampung,
which was placed into their packaging.
